Welcome to Kirschner Mountain

Our sign marks the entry to the mountain. There are those who will live on the mountain and those who will only look up at it.

Here you will find beautiful, fully serviced residential building lots averaging over a quarter acre in size.

Each lot carries a spectacular valley and lake view. Offering the freedom to choose your own builder, we only require that each home is a craftsman-style with unique distinguishing characteristics.

The aim is simplicity and authenticity working together.
One look at our building lots and you will know that living at Kirschner Mountain is where you want to be.
A place of privilege, privacy and pride.

A new place to call home. It may seem curious, the almost accidental discovery of something that has been there all along. Something as large as a mountain and as significant as a whole new way of living. It may also seem like a particular honour; access to a way of bringing up families and living in a place which for decades was the private reserve for only one family and their offspring.
It certainly seems magical, one mountain protected by another just to the side and bordered by canyon, farm, orchard, creek and parkland.

A place lit by the Northern lights, where the full moon casts blue shadows on firs and pine.
A place where the lake view, while spectacular, is just one of the many eye opening, heart expanding ways of looking outward.

Happenings around the Mountain

Vancouver 2010

The Olympics closing ceremonies have come and gone. With fourteen gold medals, Canada has secured a point in history that will be recorded and recalled for quite some time! We have claimed more gold medals than any other country, and secured our position as the hockey moguls of the world (having won both the men and women's olympic hockey tournaments).

Canada has in fact doubled the number of gold medals we've ever won during the Olympics, and blown away previous records upon home soil! Google the history and you may be as surprised as we were.

Kelowna's valley echoes and stirs with a new sense of pride. We claimed we would 'Own the podium' and our athletes didn't let us down.

The next winter Olympics will be in Russia in 2014. Until then, we wish all of our athletes the best in their future endeavors. Thanks for representing our country to the utmost! We are Canadian!

Kirschner Mountain is proud to announce their support of the Good News Bears!

Since 1989, from the first hand crafted donation, the Good News Bears have raised over $2.7 million dollars towards those Okanagan residents in need of some holiday cheer. Throughout the Okanagan, Similkameen and Shuswap regions, the Good News Bears have raised annual money to assist a broad range of people, such as pensioners on fixed incomes, workers who have been laid off, single parents, and the working poor.

The Good news Bears have raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, and make a tour during the holidays allowing the people to view the beautifully crafted donations. The event is covered by the local television station, CHBC and the bears are donated by a wide variety of individuals, organizations, unions, the RCMP, and the fire departments!

If you would like your very own Good News Bear, contact at Lisa O. of Totally Bear at 250-826-1123 for more information about how you can have one made.

We feel it's important to share a bit of awareness regarding this magnificent movement that generates so much hope for so many residents of our valley each year. Thanks for your support!
